Dr. Brett Shorenstein is a native New Yorker who was raised on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. He graduated from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Management. After working for a year in New York City as an investment banker at Credit Suisse, Dr. Shorenstein was determined to follow his true passion and become a small animal veterinarian.

Dr. Brett Shorenstein is a native New Yorker who was raised on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. He graduated from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Management. After working for a year in New York City as an investment banker at Credit Suisse, Dr. Shorenstein was determined to follow his true passion and become a small animal veterinarian.

Following a two-year post-baccalaureate program, Dr. Shorenstein attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in Philadelphia, where he graduated magna cum laude. Then, he moved back to New York City, where he completed a year-long rotating internship in Medicine and Surgery at the Animal Medical Center.

Dr. Shorenstein is a co-founder of Veterinary Innovative Partners. Dr. Shorenstein has utilized his training in finance and management in combination with his training as a veterinarian to develop, with his partners, a unique tailored approach to operating each practice. His particular interest is workplace culture.

In addition to Veterinary Innovative Partners, Dr. Shorenstein patented the Brilliant Pad housebreaking waste disposal system for dogs in 2013. Furthermore, Dr. Shorenstein regularly consults on innovations in the pet health space.

When not working, Brett enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. Brett’s interests include travel, culinary adventures, tennis, the New York Jets.
