Dr Andrew Armani Head shot

Dr. Andrew Armani loves to support and develop his fellow veterinarians and support staff, recruit new veterinarians into the VIP network, and teach veterinary students the practical aspects of communication, business, and well-being. As Chief Medical Officer for VIP, he maintains empathy and understanding of the challenges and successes at the practice level.

Dr. Armani began his veterinary career working in the kennels in Colorado and then as a technician at a veterinary hospital in New Orleans before going on to the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, he did an internship and met his wife, who is also a veterinarian, and they proceeded to own and operate two fast-growing hospitals in Florida. His ownership experience provided him with many valuable lessons in hospital operations, leadership, and cultural development. He found his true passion in teaching and mentoring veterinary students at the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine before ultimately selling his practices and joining Zoetis as a Professional Services Veterinarian in NYC. After Zoetis, he acted as a Regional Medical Director from New Jersey to Maine until joining VIP. In addition to his CMO duties, he also is an adjunct professor of Veterinary Skills at LIU School of Veterinary Medicine.

He and his wife spend much of their time raising their three children who enjoy playing in the lake and laughing a lot. When not busy with work, he likes playing the guitar, mountain biking, cooking, and drinking wine.
