Erica Emmett has been in veterinary medicine for 24 years. She started as a vet assistant while living in China and moved back to the U.S. to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She has worked in various roles within a vet clinic, a kennel, vet assistant, LVT, and Manager at a large corporation. She also spent 15 years doing veterinary sales for pet food and pharmaceuticals. She has a BA in Political Science, AAS in Veterinary Technology, and a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership. Her passion is helping people discover their strengths and empowering them to follow a path to success.
Erica lives in Richmond, VA with her husband, two children, three dogs, two cats, and Jerry, the hamster. When not working or taking care of her family, Erica loves to relax in a yoga class or at a winery with her friends. She is excited to help VIP grow into an innovative, forward-thinking family of hospitals by hiring and retaining people who love veterinary medicine as much as she does.
